The holidays are just around the corner and we’re sure most of you are planning your out-of-town vacations already! Though it’s still a long way to go before summer, a lavish island getaway sounds idyllic for a year-ender escape.

If you’re not on a budget or if you’re feeling more #boujee than usual, you might consider going to one of these luxurious spots. If not, you can always save up and put any of these into your local travel bucket list.

Here are a few of the most expensive island resorts in the country:

Eskaya Resort, Bohol

If you want to be one with nature, you can do it luxuriously in this resort in Panglao. You can get a great view of the cliffs and the sea in this resort for the starting price of P28,000 but if you want the garden villa, you’ll have to shell out a total of P50,000 a night.

Just on the coast of Siargao near popular surf hub Cloud 9, this resort is found hidden among the lush green trees and clear waters of the island. It was included in the New York Times’ “46 Places to Go” in 2013. The price range is around P34,000 to P62,000.

Misibis Bay Resort, Albay

This tropical haven is located on Caragay Island, surrounded by mountains, greenery and pristine waters. Aside from enjoying the white sand beach, Mayon Volcano is nearby if you want to go sightseeing or try the water activities if you’re into water sports.

Enticed yet? Rates start at P25,000 and can go up high as P80,000 a night.

Island Buenavista, Davao del Norte

You’ll need a special occasion to be here because you’ll be renting an entire island to yourself. You can bring a maximum of 9 other people to stay with you for the price of up to P137,000 a night. The beautiful island is surrounded by clear blue waters and is known for its advocacy as an eco-friendly resort.

Aman Resort, Amanpulo

This posh and lavish resort is the go-to resort of Hollywood VIPs and we totally understand why. It’s practically a piece of heaven on earth with its picturesque beach and world-class amenities and facilities.

Get your wallet ready because the price ranges from P45,000 to a whopping P250,800 per night.

The only way you can get to this private island is by a small chartered plane and it’s located off the coast of Quezon, near Polillo Islands. This resort houses different island-themed villas that are pieces of paradise—from Mykonos and St. Tropez to Toscana and Phuket.

The resort isn’t open to the public, but if you wish to be a member, you only have to pay the membership fee of P3 million. No biggie.
