Hear us out — despite the mangkukulam and arbularyo vibes Agimat Foraging Bar is known for, it’s a candidate as romantic date spot simply because of the comfy, dim, and moody ambiance and fancy modern Filipino food couples and non-couples alike will enjoy.

This Filipino cafe and bakery is the perfect little spot for you and your S.O.! If you’re both in the mood for something light and no-fuss, put this on top of the list.
They have dishes like eggplant gratin and bucatini. Plus, the servings are huge, so you don’t need to worry about not having a hefty meal at this simple cafe. Afterwards, you can move to Ñ upstairs for some post-dinner drinks. It’s dimly lit and it’s a complete 180 degree turn from the downstairs cafe’s atmosphere.

Upon entering, you’ll feel as if you’re being transported into another dimension with all its colorful fairy lights sparkling in a dimly lit hall. Get cozy and up close with your partner-in-crime as you enjoy authentic Japanese sake and bump to some music.

Don’t worry, The Wild Poppy doesn’t get too wild like a lot of places in Poblacion. It’s a cute and chill little restaurant on a rooftop garden that serves Asian fusion food and cocktails. The colorful decor and hanging lightbulbs make an Instagram-worthy backdrop, while the place is snug enough so you and the bae can have a proper exchange of sweet nothings.
