After a year of reign as Miss Universe, our very own Pia Wurtzbach passed on her iconic bedazzled blue crown to France’s Iris Mittenaere earlier today, January 30, 2017.
But there’s no stopping this bright-eyed 27-year-old from ruling the world.
Pia will be returning to New York City to fulfill her role as ambassador of the Miss Universe Organization. She is also considering taking up a degree at the New York Film Academy, where she was granted a scholarship.
During the 65th Miss Universe pageant held at the Mall of Asia Arena this morning, she also revealed to host, Steve Harvey that she recently signed up with International Management Group (IMG), a New York-based talent management company whose popular talents include Miranda Kerr and Gigi Hadid.
Another exciting project Pia is going to take part in is the hit reality television series, Asia’s Next Top Model, where she will be joining host, Cindy Sirinya; photographer-director, Yu Tsai; and supermodel mentor, Cara McIlroy in the panel. Make sure to catch AsNTM Season 5 on Star World.
