About last night. Victoria’s Secret made noise in Shanghai, China to shoot its annual fashion show featuring veteran, returning, and rookie VS Angels; four musical performers; and a star-studded audience. This year in particular is special as included in the show’s highlights are the designs by creative director Olivier Rousteing for Balmain that graced the famous catwalk. #VSxBalmain marks the lingerie brand’s first collaboration with a fashion house for both runway and in-store collections.
The set, “Punk Angel,” unveiled the designer brand’s collection which featured lingerie in tartan and mesh fabrics, and embellished with silver studs, spikes, safety pins, and chains. We were also envious of the models who were excessorized with leather jackets, thigh-high laced boots, strappy heels, and chokers. Exuding edgy, rebellious, and rocker chic vibes, the collab gave a new look to the usually sweet, dainty, and romantic style of Victoria’s Secret.
