No Shade, Just Sunnies for Every Gal this Summer

‘Tis the season to whip out your best eyewear! But have you considered the right one for your face shape? Eyes might be the window to our soul but specs frame our entire face, and that’s equally important. Here’s how to choose the best sunglasses to wear this summer.

Oval shape

If your chin is narrower than your forehead and you have high cheekbones, you won’t have much problem looking for the right frame because anything goes! You can play around with bold, thick frames and even small, colorful ones. Sky’s the limit.

Round shape

Full cheeks and rounded chin are features that make you look youthful. Geometric and rectangular shapes with thin frames will contrast these features well to make your face look longer.

Square shape

If you have a sharp and angular jawline with a wide forehead, choose frames with round or oval shapes to complement and soften these features. You can even experiment with cat-eye and semi-rimless specs!

Heart shape

If you have a narrow, pointed chin and a wide forehead, you have a heart-shaped face. You might want to opt for wider frames or ones that are heavy on the bottom to balance out your narrow chin. You can also play around with thin styles and light colors for symmetry.

Oblong shape

To balance an oblong-shaped face or make it appear shorter, explore frames with more width or depth, or something with a bridge to make the nose look shorter.
