Fashion repeats itself, or so the saying goes. We’ve all witnessed the comeback of fashion trends like chokers, bell bottoms, turtle necks, and slip dresses— just to name a few. Take a walk down memory lane as we reminisce and get inspiration from the fashion trends throughout the years.
1950s
Besides being an era of full skirts and long, frilly dresses, the 50s was a period of coats. Check out Georgina Wilson’s take on this fashion trend below. We’re in love with the boldness of her color choice.

1960s
Colorblock dresses, gingham, knitted pullovers, cardigans, and prints inspired by the pop art movement (like stripes and polkadots) were the stars of the 60s. Towards the end of the decade, as the hippie movement drew nearer, earthy tones like mustard yellow, moss green, brown, and burnt orange became very popular. Anne Curtis’ 60s-inspired outfit is something we’d totally wear.

1970s
70s fashion was revolutionary. Shorts and pants finally became popular among women. This decade was a period of bright colors, funky prints, flare pants, and fringes. Hair was usually worn long and very natural. We’re in love with Liza Soberano’s modern take on the trends of the 70s!

1980s

1990s
There is no denying how much the 90s has influenced the world of fashion today. Hole-ridden jeans, slip dresses worn over shirts, and chokers were staple items in every 90s girl’s closet. Check out Liza Soberano’s 90s-inspired outfit—she opts for a lingerie inspired silk cami instead of a slip dress to keep the look updated.
