5. Sip and Gogh

Release the artist in you and create your own masterpiece like Vincent van Gogh. Sip and Gogh doesn’t mind if you’ve never held a brush in your life. They’ll take you through the process step by step while you sip your choice of drink and munch on some snacks on the side. You can choose the subject of your art depending on the time slot and branch you’re visiting, but they also have open sessions if you want complete freedom.

4. Barkin’ Blends Dog Café

Make room for a third, fourth, fifth, or even eighth (furry) wheel when you head on over to Barkin’ Blends Dog Café. They offer meals, pupcakes, and beverages in the human zone, while it’s all cuteness and cuddles in the dog zone. Don’t forget to bring home some dognuts, muttfins, and bonecuits for your own doggo!

3. Mt. Daraitan & Tinipak River

Trade the movies for nature’s spectacular sceneries when you hike on Mt. Daraitan in Tanay, Rizal. It’s not bad for first-timers as the trail to the summit is short and slopes are gentle. Even if the view from the top will take your breath away, the treats don’t stop there. After descending the mountain, you can also trek to Tinipak River where you’ll be greeted with a flowing, turquoise body of water surrounded by limestone rock formations. A sight to see indeed.

1. Natural Museum of Natural History

Be #cultured and consider spending the day in the recently renovated Natural Museum of Natural History. There are at least 10 galleries housing flora and fauna unique to the Philippines. What’s more, the museum’s art and architecture are as beautiful as the nature it houses.
