7 Local Celebs and their Stunning Wedding Gowns

By  - 6 years ago

June is the start of wedding season which is also the perfect time for future brides to be on the lookout for inspiration and we’re here to do just that. Check out the most stunning gowns our very own celebs wore on their special day.

Anne Curtis

My wedding dress journey ?? I think as a little girl we always imagine or dream of our wedding dress and how we want it to look like… but when the day actually comes it can get quite overwhelming…. so I want to take this opportunity to thank this amazing and gorgeous woman @moniquelhuillier for making me the most beautiful dress I’ve ever worn in my life. Thank you for making it everything I’ve ever imagined it to be and more – Ethereal, dreamy, traditional yet still fun. (Talk about confusing right?) yet Monique made my dream dress come to life. I can’t even express in words how I felt the moment you first put a veil on me and then again when I put on the dress for our last fitting. Thaaaaaaank you for making it a memorable bridal journey for me. Truly unforgettable. It took 10 months with 4 visits -with each visit the dress just blooming into life- but I felt like it went by sooooo fast… I think I’ll always feel kilig when I pass by Monique Lhullier on Melrose whenever I’m in town. Thank you again Monique. Can’t wait for my own little girl to wear this dress one day…. ❤️ Can’t believe it’s been 3 weeks already… @moniquelhuillierbride #moniquelhuillier #mlbride #custombride

Anne looked ethereal in a custom-made dress by world-renowned designer Monique Lhuillier. While a lot of brides can get their hands on a Lhuillier dress off the rack, custom designs need to be made 6 months in advance and can cost up to $20,000. No big deal.

Marian Rivera

Marian walked down the aisle in a Michael Cinco gown worth a whopping P2 million. The dress is made of Solstiss French lace with a French paillette, minute Swarovski pearls, and studded by transparent Swarovski crystals. To say she was blindingly beautiful on her wedding day is an understatement.

Georgina’s dream wedding dress is a piece from the Monique Lhuillier Fall 2015 collection, The Elizabeth. The dress has layers of tulle with rose gold beads and embellishments that extend to the sleeves – a look fitting for a Disney princess.

Vicki Belo

Only a Michael Cinco design is fitting for an extravagant Parisian wedding. The famous doctor wore a total of 4 dresses by the Dubai-based designer but walked to the altar in this blush-colored dress with a 3-meter long train made of French lace and embroidered baroque patterns.

Max Collins

This intricately-embroidered custom Francis Libiran gown made the bride even more glowing on her special day. The delicately-designed neckline and beadwork plus the sheer back definitely gives her whole look an immaculate touch.

Though she can easily flaunt her smoking hot bod, Solenn chose to keep it classy and simple with this dress by Israeli Designer Lili Hod. Solenn looked sophisticated and just the right amount of sexy with the sheer lace details.

Karel Marquez

Look at those beads and patterns! Karel was radiant in this Mak Tumang creation and we can’t decide what our favorite part of the dress is – the sweetheart neckline, the embroidery, the train, maybe everything?
