Cinema lovers and film enthusiasts can expect a handful of great movies coming out this month because there’s no shortage of exciting flicks to hit the multiplex in the days to come. From well-known franchises to new adaptations, here are movies we’re excited to see at the theatres this July.
Ant-Man and The Wasp
Marvel. Enough said. This franchise has never let the fans and audience down with blockbuster hits year after year. After his brief but memorable appearance in Captain America: Civil War, we get to see Paul Rudd portray Ant-Man again but this time, in his own film.
Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again
Ten years after the first film, we’re being treated to a delightful sequel to the live-action musical that came out in 2008. The best news about this is that most of the original cast are back and there are even more ABBA songs to be included.
Mission Impossible: Fallout
Ethan Hunt is back with another dangerous mission to accomplish. The 6th installment to the 12-year-old action franchise will see a mustached Henry Cavill as the main antagonist with big names such as Alec Baldwin, Angela Bassett, and Simon Pegg joining the cast.
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation
Everyone’s favorite monster family is back and this time, Drac and the pack are going on a luxurious monster cruise ship. However, it’s not as smooth sailing as we think as Drac falls in love with the ship captain, Ericka, who is hiding a dangerous secret.
The First Purge
If you’ve seen the first 3 movies, you’ll want to see this one. As the title suggests, the 4th installment will show us how the first Purge began as a simple experiment of lawlessness to reduce the annual crime rate. Expect more heart-stopping action and of course, mind-blowing violence in this one.
