We love attending and watching weddings as much as the next girl, and this time, our tears were shed for the first of the three pairs of the #TheTrio and #BloggerJowa tandem.
Fashion blogger-author Kryz Uy and PBB Winner-engineer Slater Young tied the knot in Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu over the weekend. People kept gushing about the details of the wedding, and we can’t help but share our favorites.
Below are five things from the Uy-Young nuptials that we will definitely add to our Pinterest board. For future reference.
5. Kryz’s stunning wedding wardrobe
The fashion blogger was just a blooming bride-to-be throughout all the festivities leading up to the big day. Her makeup always looked so effortlessly radiant, and her elegant style reflected in her choice of dresses and gowns.
Kryz started with a pale gray gown with a halter neckline and fully covered in lace by Ronald Enrico, which she wore to her Ting Hun ceremony
She then wore a white, frilled asymmetrical dress from Lovers and Friends and paired it with a dainty, floral hair accessory from Jacatel.
For her intimate church wedding, she was in another Ronald Enrico number, a column dress with intricate beading details.
On the day of her wedding, Kryz got ready in a Happy Andrada dressing robe before she finally got into her beautiful Francis Libiran gown made of Italian lace and adorned with floral appliqués and crystals.
4. The covetable maid and matron of honor and bridesmaid dresses
Elizabeth Hallie is the designer behind the gorgeous tulle powder blue gowns worn by Kryz’ best gals. She had a different neckline and style made for each girl, and we honestly can’t choose which one is our favorite. We love them all!
3. This sweet candid moment of the now Mr. and Mrs. Young
Towards the end of the night, a close friend caught a very candid and sweet moment of the newly married couple just talking and hugging while the rest of the guests were partying around them.
2. The romantic reception
Probably the part of the venue you saw most on your feed is the tunnel where guests were welcomed with an Instagram-worthy spot. A long stretch of fairy lights extended until the dining area! It was like dining under the stars.

Their wedding featured such cute and enchanting floral-wood details from the invitations to the menu cards to the cake! And how beautiful are those bouquets?!
