Tricia Gosingtian’s Fashion Collab with AVA Is Perfect for Romantic Travel OOTDs

By  - 1 year ago

Online retailer, AVA.ph is known for their collaborations with some of the most influential figures in the Philippine fashion community. Their latest partnership features a collection by none other than Tricia Gosingtian, aptly named “Summer in Bloom” due to the abundance of florals, pastels, and billowing silhouettes.

Apart from its heavy notes of romance, fluid cuts, and effortless color palette, what makes this collection special is that nearly every single piece can be mixed and matched with the rest of the pieces in the collection. It’s versatility at its best. Whether you want to rock matching printed coordinates, minimalist solid separates, or an eclectic mix of both, “Summer in Bloom” could easily work as your entire warm weather wardrobe.

We spoke to Tricia to get the deets on her swoon-worthy collection:

Describe your collection in 3 words
Tricia Gosingtian (TG): Feminine, wearable, and everyday.

What was the inspiration behind your collection?
TG:  I super love Japan—I try to go more than 3-4 times a year. Over the years I’ve kinda had that reputation of being the girl who loves Japan. I actually imagined this collection to be an embodiment of my trips to Japan. I want people to be able to somehow transport themselves to Japan while wearing the clothes. So when AVA approached me to collaborate with them, I automatically wanted a Japanese-inspired collection…It’s pretty cool that we were able to keep up with these pieces that are very much my style but you can see the color and the cuts are also [AVA’s] style.

Which Disney princess would wear your collection?
TG: I think princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty. She’s also my favorite Disney princess.

If you could wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?
TG: From the collection, I would wear all the black pieces.

If you could dress any celebrity in your collection, who would it be?
TG: I’d probably want to dress Jessica Jung, who used to be part of Girls Generation. She’s a K-Pop star.

How do you want women to feel when wearing your clothes?
TG: I want them to feel like the best version of themselves. I know it might sound cliché but that’s something I want people to remember when they’re wearing my clothes.

The Tricia Gosingtian x AVA collection will be available today, April 27 on ava.ph. Happy shopping!
