Hugot Lines We Don’t Realize We Say Everyday

By  - 1 year ago

You know those moments when you catch yourself muttering something so mundane but realize it could hold a deeper meaning? Imagine being cancelled by the ride you booked and you find yourself thinking, “I’m used to being rejected anyway.”

Well, we feel you. Sometimes, it just can’t be helped! Some of us are heartbroken and it’s cathartic to turn ordinary, everyday sentences into a hugot. Here are just a few hugot lines without context.

“Masarap pero ang sakit sa puso”

Bad always comes with the good. There’s no such thing as a free lunch. So if something’s too good to be true, it probably is. So be careful and be conscious, even if you think you’re safe from suffering. If it feels like heaven, it’s only a matter of time before it turns to hell. Take care of your heart, boys and gals – it can only take so much.

“Lumamig na tuloy”

You can’t just ignore something good that’s been given to you. Some of you need to learn that if you leave things for too long, eventually they will grow cold and stale. Attention is key if you want to maintain warmth and that kilig factor.

“Excess baggage”

It’s not healthy to carry so much baggage. It’s heavy, it’s a burden, and you’re the only one who will suffer in the end. Don’t let things weigh you down and just get rid of the unnecessary. The sooner you let go of that extra baggage, the better you’ll feel. Travel light and soldier on with ease.

“This won’t last”

Everything has an expiration date. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy the temporary time that you have. So you better make the most out of what’s left. Life is too short to just sit there and watch the clock tick. One minute it’s there, the next minute it’s ruined. After all, good things must come to an end.

“Bitter pa rin”

Sometimes, when we try to remedy or fix something, it just worsens it. Just let it simmer, and let it sit there for a while, maybe. Don’t rush into taking more than you can handle. The best approach is to take small steps until you’ve perfected the formula to a sweeter and creamier cup of life.
