Being around your SO means you’re comfortable enough to let your hair down and be your truest, silliest self. And it’s a sight to behold when it shines through in your snaps.

Your choice in backdrop is always key. But with the natural wonders all around us at any given point, it’s basically just a matter of being able to recognize what’s right under your nose.

Do things together

Shared moments are some of the best moments. Capture them no matter how trivial they may seem and if not now, then you’ll later on come to realize and appreciate how adorable you two actually are in those selfies.

A little sartorial matching will make your photos look more put together. You can go for subtle patterns like Anne and Erwan’s striped outfits or try complementary color palettes, for example.

Get creative

Solo photos of each other on your individual feeds can also work. Just make sure bae’s looking extra cute, plus there’s a fun message attached.

For a surefire, no-fail trick, you could always hire a pro. If budget is an issue, you’ll probably be able to convince a photog friend to take a few good ones of you for the ‘gram in exchange for dinner or a round of drinks.

Lastly, have fun

This has to be the ultimate open secret for taking the best photos. It seems like a given, but it’s still worth mentioning. (Just in case, you know!) Because in the end, you may have the most beautiful lighting with the most beautiful view while wearing the prettiest ensembles, but if you’re not enjoying the company of each other, then the whole feel would just be plain wrong.
